2010 SPORTSMAN’S PARADISE FALL FESTIVAL
SEPTEMBER 17th & 18th

The Marion Sportsman's Paradise Fall Festival welcomes all sportsman and their families to our community to hunt and fish in our vast hunting and fishing reserves and privately leased hunting areas near the Town of Marion. Our festival includes a parade, amazing musical guests and delicious food held annually in downtown Marion. The festival begins on Saturday, September 10 with the Sportsman's Pageant on Friday night. On September 17, the Sportsman's Banquet will be held at the Marion Baptist Life Center. A blow-out of family fun activities continues on Saturday the 18th beginning with a parade followed by turkey, hog, and duck calling contests, and local band competition that will make you want to stomp your feet. Other special features including the "Wild Game Cook Off", "Historical Re-enactments" of events about Union Parish history, and arts and craft booths.
